Das Raich der Gnomes

I'm too tired to write an intro, lemme get it short.

Chiren wants to be the first level 85 in Cataclysm, with his 'army of gnomes'.
After he asked us to login, come to the server and sign a guild charter, so I made a noam mage to get asap to the bank in IF.
The guild was made. It's called 'Das Raich der Gnomes'..
So he thanked us for helping out and couple of us started leveling immediately, me rerolling druid and did a couple of levels... after a while we were only left with 2 of us online, me and Nightfox.
I created a DK, because I could skip 55 levels that way, taking less time to 80.
Started leveling... 56, 57..
Chiren came online to see if there were still hardcore people online... jup, 2 of us... and it's early in the morning in west-europe so he told us good night. ( which would be good morning theoretically :P )
Ding! level 58. that was about..20 minutes ago.
The quests are pretty epic, great storyline, which makes the leveling a bit more fun. :)
Gonna try to update this blog whenever I can.
It's not poker I know, but I don't give a crap... it's all about THA GAIMEZ!

and now... off to bed..finally.

Comment by MikkDC on February 20, 2010 at 5:26pm: I created a dwarf warrior to help sign charter but by time i got there guild was established so no 'founder' status for me /cry lol. I may create a DK too. Have a level 80 on another realm and I love the playstyle of them. I will let you know when/if I do so I can get an invite to the guild :D Although I may yet just transfer one of my existing charcters....

I wonder tho how this is gonna work with 45+ players during the leveling process.. people might not get the cut of the xp, or whatever.. gonna ask him when he's on.

Today there were lots of people invited to the guild... by lots I mean lots. At the moment we have 144 people in here, trolls, fanboys, people just interested in the event, Dutch, Belgium, Swedish, Norwegian, German players even an American, every country seems to be in here...pretty awesome.
There are spammers and annoying dicks, but they will probably leave in the next days or get kicked, after 4 hours when Chiren went off, it became relaxing, with only about 18 people online.
I'm getting this feeling of the mass-sprint to level 80 when Wotlk came out, but now with a selective group.. which is quite fun, but... I don't want to waste too much 'lifetime-hours' on this like I did before.. 2 levels a day from 70-80.. with only quests and a few instance runs... that was sick stuff.
That wasn't healthy either. Lots of fun tho. The competition is something I always liked... to see who's the first to get this or that.. that's also why I like poker, lot's of competition. :)
Okay, enough with the writing, I can keep rambling on, but it's just too f*cking late.

Sadly, I don't have the time to level another character to 80 on another server, I wish GL to levelling world first, I won't be surprised if you got banned again, as blizz can do whatever they want even if they told you it's legal.

I just couldn't bare the thought of levelling from lvl 1 again and besides I really like the playstyle of DKs. I know where im heading now I have hit 58. Comment by Glitch on February 24, 2010 at 7:21am: Today we had the very first 'Das Raich der Gnomes' event, it was a lot of fun, about 2 hours we fought the horde at the STV arena, the Crossroads in The Barrens, Ratchet and at the entrance to Orgrimmar.
I recorded some of the event, too bad somehow the Crossroads fight got lost in the process.
Finished rendering an edited clip of about 5 minutes and I will try to get it online tommorow.
It will be quite 'raw' and I tried some stuff out that I didn't yet control... if I had more footage, it would've been much smoothers and nicer, but /care it was all fun and hopefully you'll enjoy the video.
