I kinda went on tilt after last weekends fiasco. $745 in buyins I forgot to unreg for and then the 3 missed freerolls which, to be conservative, cost me about $500 in lost opportunity. A couple days before the weekend I had decided that I needed to work harder on my game since I felt I had been coasting for awhile. Not sure why it sent me on tilt so bad, but it did. As far as in game tilt, that lasted only for a few hours on sunday as I lost about 350 chasing. Then I stopped chasing. The aggravation continued though into the week culminating as some noticed in two nights of drinking. Although the drinking didn't cost me any money, and I actually made a little, it's not going to continue.
Part of the aggravation was that I've been getting so close to having roll comfortable enough to play live again and I also need a bit more to take a trip.
While shooting baskets yesterday evening I decided I'm going to try to begin cashing out 950 (max echeck per week) once a week regardless of my roll. I'm hoping this will push me a bit, increase my discipline.
For now I'm going to focus rigorously on game selection. I know there are still some games I play regularly, though while I'm not losing in them, I think they are fairly close to EV neutral. It's the time and wasted energy playing them that is lost.
