I took a few weeks off, read some books and strategy, reviewed my hands (and found I rarely made a 'wrong' decision)...
Well, tonight, my last $25 that I could put to poker, the same $25 that's been sitting in my PokerStars account, got lost on an all-in I hit by mistake.
Since I work a very crappy job, had to scrape for the $50 I put in, and won't be able to bankroll something I'm consistently losing at...
I'm done.
Best of luck to all of you, I…

So I've decided to try out NL 5 Card Draw so I entered Newtowns NL 5 Card Draw freeroll Tourney.
I came 131 out of 6000 :D
I lost to a royal flush against triple 7s and double 6.
Oh and here's a screenshot below of me advertising friendly poker.net

One of our own showed us this great post, and I thought it'd be great to pass it on, it should be viewed as intermediate, the "next step" after 2nl and 5nl and the videos Chiren80 is making you now :)
I'll continue to answer questions here, and bring info to FriendlyPoker.net to help everyone here.

It's been a while since my last progression post which was on the 14th. A lot of things have happened since then; I tried doing Cash games a bit and lost some money. Also deposited $10 on Full Tilt, playing 10NL Rush Poker(bad BRM) and made $50 in two hours and lost it all in 10 minutes. I've been kicking…

Another week has come and gone and the grind is still going on. I'm very pleased with my results so far. The time, study and energy I put into improving my game has really paid off. Here's the graph for my progress so far, back at 50NL :
I'm pretty happy with it but it's a bit early to celebrate since 40K hands is a pretty small sample to determine…

Old Review I wrote...
This is an old review I wrote for a hand-replayer. I still use it and haven't needed to search for another one.
*Zombie's Program Corner*
I love poker and I love programs that help me analyze and improve my game. In today's world is much easier to find leaks in your game and fix them. There is an abundent amount of sites and programs out there that can really help you. Most of them are free. If your anything like me you'd…

First day of the semester today. Got home from school pretty late and didn't feel like doing much. Was just clicking around in PokerStars and happened to see that there was a freeroll satelite about to start. It was one of those with 9000 players and the top 72 got tickets to the tournament. So I thought it would be fun just to fool around with that for a bit. Didn't really expect much, but I sat as a goal ether to last one hour or be in top 4000.
Well... 3 hours later and I was still in…

Hey all, just a quick intro from me. Been playing poker since early summer 2009, started with freerolls and have run it up quite nicely. The 2+2 forums and watching winning players has helped me out most, along with good bankroll management.
SNs are MasterofRNG on both PS and FTP.
Some graphs here of my progress.

Some goals for the…

So yesterday I played my very first real money poker. Well I did play in the Gunnies world record satellite, but then I didn't know much about NL Holdem, so that went balls. Finished 177 of 766 and only 70 got to the main event that round.
I have been playing Holdem on and off for a few years tho, but only fixed limit play money. And it has maby been like 2-3h every third months or so.
A week ago I started reading about NL Holdem, got hold of some books and sites on the Internet.…

Whew, what a week it's been. I spent about 10-12hrs last weekend studying, reading forums, watching leakbuster videos and analyzing my game. Then I wanted to practice all this new stuff so I went on 4 tables of 50NL normal speed 6-max. However it was just so ridiculously slow for me after 24-tabling fast tables that I quickly went back to 24 tables FR but normal speed instead of fast. I wanted to practice all the stuff I didnt do before, that is calling down lighter & bluffing more. The…

A hassle it has been...
I've been in dire need of a new computer for some time. I'm not one to go to Best Buy and just pick one up. I'm very picky when it comes to spending money on electronics and want to make sure that I'm getting something that is going to last. When it comes to computers I usually build my own.
I am focusing this year, so I thought I'd go ahead and spend some money and build a nice machine that can allow me to run as many tables as I can handle. It has…
