Poker Skill Game - Prop Bet...

Here's an idea:  Can anyone come up with an idea for a prop bet in relation to Poker being a skill game instead of just luck based like your average casino slot machines or other table games?

 

This is something I bet we could get going on 2+2 and with PokerStars involved if we come up with the right idea.  Who knows, maybe we can even get Chiren involved...

The only thing that matters is that it's gambling with the odds in the favour of 1 player. But who that is, depends on the skill. And skill is something you have under control.

 

That's something different than gambling on a lottery where you can't do anything to turn the odds in your favour.

 

That's why I would reserve the word "gambling" for games like the lottery, and I wouldn't abuse the word for games like poker. To point out the difference.

   Obviously this is semantics.  Maybe in other languages gambling has a different meaning.  The baby affecting future economy has no bearing on whether or not it is gambling.
