what's the most awesome game atm apart from wow,
what's the most awesome game series ever,
what's the best game coming up next year or in the future,
what's the best type of game (e.g.: rpg, shooter, hack n slash)

Assassin's Creed 2 (I'm ignoring classic games, because they're not current)
I can't decide this one.
Final Fantasy XII (I'm hoping it get's the Final Fantasy series back on track)

I'm sure u mean either XIII or versus XIII, and indeed i hope the final fantasy series get back on track cos the online thing they did with FF XI was a fail for sure and XII was pretty amusing game play but the graphics and story was just horrible, XIII looks great though and is coming really soon, to bad they posponed versus XIII

Oh, sorry about that. Yes, I meant Final Fantasy XIII. XII was okay, but most of the other games since FF VII have been pretty bad. I'm also interested to see how FF XIV turns out.

I like arcade shooters and racers, RPGs (mostly for the storyline, I'm not into the repetitive gameplay) and strategy stuff

As far as series go:
Mortal Kombat (been playing this since I was a toddler)
LOTR: Battle For Middle-Earth (though I preferred the first installment by far)
Sid Meier's Civilization
Golden Sun
Fire Emblem
Burnout

Shooters just basically anything.
